“A solar phallic outburst of flame from which springs lightening in every direction.”
I refer to this card fondly as Biggus Dickus. It is a giant brazier, a furnace tower.

It certainly has been a dramatic month. We had some cracking electrical storms while I was painting this card. The sky literally went black as night at midday! This was followed of course by floods of Biblical proportions. Then there was that strange lunar eclipse on the solstice which inspired the purple moon. And finally one of  my many resident geckos who given a paint job make very passable salamanders…

I don’t have nearly so much to say about this Ace but that seems natural. This card is not about talk but action!

  1. That’s a burst and a half there of energy! Wow, I feel like I could touch it and get zapped.

Hoping you’re not under water there. My heart goes out to anyone dealing with flooding, it’s horrifying just to watch.

    • We haven’t been flooded this rainy season though it could still happen. Even when we are it’s only the garden, but that is bad enough! I feel really sorry for anyone who has it through their house! It’s one huge stinking brown raging torrent full of snakes up in Rockie at the moment apparently. Terrible!

  2. In the words of a certain Mr. Beavis: “FIRE! FIRE! FIRE!” 😀 I like to refer to it as the Ace of Wangs when I’m feeling especially juvenile. I’m struck by the similarities between this card and the Tower; all those flames and lightning. You’ve made me think that judicious employment of the Ace of Wands is a good way to avoid Tower-like situations.

    • I think the Ace of Wands gets out of Tower like situations by exploding them! Certainly there’s been a bit of shock and awe in my life since that card appeared on the block.
